For Immediate Release:
The Red, White and a little Bluer Comedy Tour is going through some line-up changes. We are dedicated to bring the most diverse group of comics on tour today. Stay tuned, the 2010 line-up will be awesome!
The Red, White and a Little Bluer Comedy Tour TM was initially created by Baja Productions and its founder, Cowboy Bill Martin, to tour military installations across the globe. "I do a toast to the military in every show and now it was time to take the show to them," said Martin. And this is not just another typical comedy tour.
"I wanted a tour with people who were connected only by their convictions, not their color of skin, clothes or heritage. I wanted a tour that America could embrace, not just segments of it. This tour resembles more of what America is really like—a melting pot.
But the bottom line is it works! The Red, White and a little Bluer Comedy Tour TM has already completed a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment World Tour and it went off spectacularly getting 16 standing ovations out of 17 appearances there. And both the comedians and the Armed Forces Entertainment directors couldn't have been happier.
"The accolades still keep pouring into my office two months after they toured. They made a lasting impression on the troops and the installations." -- Col. Edward Shock, USAF, Chief Directorate AFE
"I can't say enough about the importance (their) show had on morale here. These Airmen, Sailors, Soldiers and Marines selflessly spend months and even years away from their friends and family. And sometimes all we have left is laughter...and man did (they) make us laugh. Many, many thanks from your friends in Qatar." -- Lt. Col. Paul Kopecki, USAF
As you know, shows for the military are a microseism of America. In the audience is every race, every social and economic background, every religion, every gender and believe it or not, every sexual orientation. But because of the tour group's diversity meant everyone in the audience could relate with at least one of the members, if not all of them.
Since then they have received several emails from our Men and Women who were serving over there and came to see our show. And this is just some of the things they had to say...
"I saw you tonight at Arifjan. I Haven't laughed that much during this tour here in Iraq. November 9th on my birthday and far away from family. Your humor really made this deployment for me." - Petty Officer First Class, James Sveen, U.S. Navy
"Hi there, we had a comedy show of 3 tonight and everyone said how terrible they were and they didn't even come close to your show. We all miss you guys." -First Sergeant, Lynette Harshman
It to my knowledge it is the first time that 4 different people with 4 different backgrounds and 4 different perspectives on life, who are not stereo-typical in our individual stage shows, combined to take on things like Religion, Politics, Social and Economical Issues. Its "smart and it is funny".
The Red, White and a little Bluer Comedy Tour TM is in the works for touring Casinos, theaters and other military installations throughout 2010 and is working on a documentary that will be made for television.

Individual Bios:
Cowboy Bill Martin
Comedian Cowboy Bill Martin, from Fort Worth, TX., has built a loyal following of fans from coast to coast the old fashioned way – by working the road and bringing the funny. The Texas native has toured with some of the biggest names in country music including George Jones, George Strait, Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts and was the fifth person signed to the same management for the Blue Collar Comedians and has headlined some of the most prestigious clubs and theaters across the U.S. and Canada.
But don’t let the name fool you. Critic Punch Shaw of The Fort Worth Star Telegram says, "Martin is not your typical country-cowboy comic. There’s no talk about trailer parks or inbreeding. Sure he wears cowboy garb on stage and he speaks with a Texas accent but his comedy touches people of all cultures. In performance, he’s apt to remind you of Gary Busey with an edge. That is especially applicable, especially when Martin flashes a toothy grin and gives a gee-whiz shrug of his broad shoulders."
Bill began his career in 1996. He had recently divorced, been fired from his job in advertising and his Grandmother was dying of lung cancer. Not exactly the things that you would typically build a stand-up comedy career around, especially since nobody around him thought he was funny. Even his own mother said to his father after Bill told her that he was going to be a comedian, “He wants to be a comedian? I don’t think he’s funny.” Turns out she was wrong and audiences everywhere have been laughing ever since.
Dan Davidson
Dan Davidson, from Indianapolis, is recognized Recognized as one of the top comedians by comedy clubs across the country and hailed by critics as one of the sharpest and wittiest live performers in the business. Davidson’s material is packed with provocative witticisms and edgy undertones. He hits the stage with an instant likeability and draws the audience in with his charm. He has the rare ability to put people at ease while interacting with an audience resulting in the Chicago Sun-Times to say “quick with the audience, ...everybody laughed”. His confidence inspired the Indianapolis Star to say “A natural, …sexy”.
He has appeared on Comedy Central – Short Attention Span Theater, Fox – A Night of Comedy. He has been a guest numerous times on the nationally syndicated The Bob and Tom Show and his material has been aired on XM satellite radio. Davidson has worked with a wide range of performers such as David Alan Grier, Brett Butler, Bobby Slayton, Kevin Pollack and opened for musical acts such as The Counting Crows and The Wallflowers. Davidson has sharpened his comedic timing and live performances through his 4,000 plus shows which keeps him in high demand.
Dan started his comedy career during his college years. Since his humor wasn't welcome at Purdue University, Dan decided to make his observational sarcasm work in his favor. This shy boy mustered up the nerve to hit an open mic night at the local comedy club and his talent didn't go unnoticed. Shortly thereafter, Dan won the regional Johnny Walker comedy competition and was doing stand-up full time. His midwestern likeability matched with his biting improvisational skills put him on the comedy world map.
